GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Paper layout with guidelines in MS Word format

Paper - in MS Word, preferred RTF format. Margins: upper - 4,6cm, bottom - 4,6cm, left - 4,5cm, right - 4cm, no headers, footers and page numbers. Full text up to maximum 10 pages (up to 36.000 character set) including notes and bibliographical references. Preferred even number of pages. Font: Times New Roman. Single spacing text, left aligned.

Authors' names and affiliations - first names and surnames of the authors, affiliation and e-mail address in the left, upper corner; 10 point, left aligned.

Title of the paper - in Polish and English; 14 point, bold, centred.

Abstract - in Polish and English; 9 point, italics, maximum 15 sentences, keywords up to 2 lines.

Headings - 12 point, bold, left aligned.

Sub-headings - 11 point, bold, left aligned.

Body of the paper - 11 point.

Tables, figures, graphs, diagrams and photographs - 9 point, black and white, centred, in vertical position; title of the object placed over it, source description - under, aligned to the left edge of the object. Additionally, please attach the objects (may be in colour) as separate files in jpg or gif format and 300 dpi resolution.

Notes - 8 point, at the bottom of the page, automatically inserted, with Arabic numerals; e.g.:
1 Górny M.: Ocena efektywności udostępniania informacji w bibliotekach naukowych. Wydaw. Nauk. UAM, Poznań 1999, s. 60-66.
References to notes - as Arabic numerals in superscript1.

Bibliographical references - 9 point, at the end of the paper; e.g. [1] and [2] - etc., according to bibliographic description rules.

[2] User training programs [electr. doc.] http://www..., [retr. 14.11.2004].
